Quand choisir le gel au lieu de la base

When to choose gel over base

There are several cases where the rubber base will be insufficient on your client's nails, in which case you should opt for a gel instead.

▫️ When your client's nails are long. The rubber base after catalysis is more flexible than the gel , so if your client has long nails the rubber base will not allow a lasting pose to be maintained over time.

▫️When the client has square nails. The square being a shape more susceptible to deformation and breakage, requires additional reinforcement.

▫️When the nails retract on themselves and grow downwards. In this case, you have to file the nail from underneath and the material on top must be a hard material such as gel .

Do you know of any other cases where you should use gel instead of rubber base?
